What is Evergreen Festival?
Evergreen Festival is a four-week holiday festival that allows guests to enjoy safe, walkable outdoor experiences along the Halifax waterfront and throughout downtown Halifax. Guests will be able to support local businesses, artists and good causes while safely celebrating the season.
It includes the Online Evergreen Market with more than 35 Nova Scotia makers, creators, artists and businesses.
Evergreen Screen, hosted by Jazz East Rising, will host live performances that can be streamed for free for your at home entertainment.
Evergreen Bright is a collection of light installations throughout downtown Halifax and along the waterfront, including the Tunnel of Hope light installation, with donations going to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
Local restaurants are opening their patios and offering warming soups and festive drinks to-go throughout the Festival as part of Evergreen Soups & Sips.
Halifax hotels have created Evergreen Getaways; festive hotel packages for an overnight stay after exploring the Festival, or a full holiday weekend!
